　　　No. 725 Institute is a national military and industrial scientific & research institution located at Luoyang city in Henan province, founded in Beijing in 1961. Experiencing twice relocations and hard start, now the institute has developed into a relatively large, unique and integrated base with multiple specialties for research, test and manufacture of marine materials and relative products.

　　　With decades of development, No. 725 Institute has had 11 research offices, 10 holding companies and 3 harbor experimental stations nowadays. It mainly undertakes the research, production and manufacture of the advanced material and technique for ship, composite material, vibration and noise reduction and stealthy material, corrosion and pollution resistance technology and material, and the research tasks of damage failure analysis for ship equipment.
